With Halloween right around the corner, I’m sure your house has been filled with all kinds of pumpkins lately… This is one of my favorite fall decor hacks and such a cute addition to any fall mantle, centerpiece, or front porch.
MATERIALS
* Sugar pumpkin
* Paring knife
* Spoon
* Flowers
* Oasis (Floral Foam)
Start by cutting the top off of your sugar pumpkin with a paring knife (as you can see, I tried to do a star pattern, but messed up the end a bit!), then scrape out all of the seeds from the inside of the pumpkin with a spoon. You can rinse and store these seeds later for roasting. Cut the Oasis down to size if necessary to fit inside the pumpkin (making sure you soak it in water before putting it in the pumpkin). Once the Oasis is inside the pumpkin, arrange your flowers and enjoy your new festive pumpkin vase!
