After landing and doing a quick change we went straight to #MegaMonday with #TripleK because we don’t play about carnival!
Tuesday we turned into butterflies and did pretty mas with @hysteria_mas (hair by @nicola_harrowell) and we all danced and danced and danced all day and into the night…. (My knees 🥲)
…. Finally on Wednesday we went to the Kalinago region (the indigenous people of Dominica) to bury the carnival spirit until next year at ‘Téwé Vaval’’. What a sight to behold… I was honoured to be included and learn about this custom… UK Dominicans… Do we need this in London?!!! 👀🤔
