Megan and I haven’t been together for Ash Wednesday since the last time we walked through the doors of the Little Brown Church years ago. What a blessing it was to be together in prayer, for “Where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” (Matthew 18:20)
We are work wives, besties and sisters in faith. What a miracle it is that we found each other and get to walk this life together.
It is one thing to be our best selves inside the walls of a church, but it is another to practice the extravagant love of Jesus outside in the world.
May we all seek extravagant love. May we all embody extravagant love. And when we fall short, may we all be lucky enough to have a friend by our side to show us grace.
