The show is inspired by my story and follows a woman who goes to bars alone to reclaim her identity after being disabled from Lyme disease. Made possible by a grant from @bayarealymefoundation I wanted to create a series that raises awareness for Lyme by having a lead character with it and is entertaining while also providing insight on what it’s like to live with chronic and invisible illness that is rarely seen on screen.
