Phoebe Robinson Instagram – YES, BITCH! My third marathon in eleven months! YES, BITCH, my first time running one without an injury or an illness. YES, BITCH, I shaved SEVENTEEN MINUTES off my best marathon time, which was last year’s Boston Marathon! Whoo! A PR (personal record) for PR (that’s me, Phoebe Robinson, lol). But NO BITCH, I didn’t have a “Lost in Translation” meet cute/whirlwind soulmance aka soul romance w/an old ass piece of gabagool around Tokyo. #WomenCantHaveItAll
For real tho, running the @tokyomarathonfoundation was a dream that started a year ago when @mrshanlui & I texted each other to say we should go for it and try and get into the marathon. Somehow we both did (me as a charity runner & her via the lottery). And then we were like HOLY SHIT! WE’RE GOING TO TOKYO!
1) Post race right after I got my medal. My feet hurt. I was dead tired. And I was nauseous. But none of that mattered cuz babygirl was proud of herself.

3) Running thru the start line was magical.
4) One thing the Tokyo Marathon was gonna do was give ya the ole razzle dazzle. There were performers thruout the race, which truly made it a celebration.
5) Lol. This Mario runner and I kept seeing each other during the race. He was so funny and sweet.
6) Lmaooooo. Very excited to see black people!
7) Another moment of glory. Thank you, Japan Cancer Society, for letting me run for you! ❤️❤️❤️
8) Met these queens post race as I was waiting for my Uber and questioning my life choices. Haha. It was much hotter than expected, so we all were pushed to our limits. And this was the first race where I was someone else’s marker. So honored. Truly means a lot!
9) Okay, isn’t post marathon poncho the cutest? I will be wearing this around my house and to future Pap smears. 🤣🤣🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
10) The staff at my hotel were so cute when I asked them to take a pic of and they were like…let’s do it on the balcony, so Tokyo Tower. What in the America’s Next Top Model creative direction was that?! Lol. They understood the assignment & wanted me to get my shot for look book when I do my go sees. 🤣🤣
