Raini Rodriguez Instagram – 20 years ago today, my parents sacrificed everything and moved me to LA to pursue my dreams of acting✨
Of course it hasn’t been an easy journey. There have been no’s when I prayed it would be a yes, doors closing with windows opening instead…I’ve missed family birthdays, band concerts, basketball games, and everything in between.
But I’ve also gained a lot too. The friends I’ve made along the way, the stories I get to tell, the pictures I’ve taken, the projects I’ve gotten to be apart of, the tables I get to sit at, the walls I get to knock down….its all the biggest blessing. I absolutely LOVE what I do🥹 There’s no better feeling of accomplishment after knowing how hard you and your team/family have worked so hard to make a dream come to life. & to also know Rico and I have expanded our careers not just in acting, but in writing, directing and running our own production company….there’s no feeling like it.
But with all of this being said, at the end of the day, none of this would be possible without my parents. I owe them everything and I am forever grateful for the opportunities they have given me. To have your 11 year old daughter say, “hey mom and dad, I want to be an actor.” and them to jump head first into making it happen, is extraordinary.
