A heirloom possession passed down in Rasika Dugal’s (@rasikadugal) family for more than 50 years is her grandmother’s organza silk saree. On her wedding day, the actor in turn draped herself in the fabric after her mother had done the same at her wedding. The saree to her is a living testament to the resilience, grace, and strength of the women who came before her. “I love sarees, it’s my go to,” she tells us. And it truly is a match made in heaven when we drape her in handcrafted pieces for our Women’s Day cover shoot.
