Sadha Instagram – 🌙 Mushroom & Soya un-Mutton Kababs — A Hearty, Cruelty-Free Iftar Treat! 🌟

This Ramzan, let’s break our fast with kindness — a soulful, protein-packed kabab made from mushrooms and soya chunks, without hurting any living beings. 🐾✨

Ingredients:
🥢 1 cup soya chunks (rehydrated)
🍄 200g button or cremini mushrooms (finely chopped)
🧅 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
🧄 2 garlic cloves (minced)
🫚 1-inch ginger (grated)
🌶️ 1 green chili (optional)
🌱 ½ cup chickpea flour (besan)
🍃 ¼ cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
🧂 ½ tsp cumin powder
🌟 ½ tsp coriander powder
🧂 Salt & black pepper to taste
🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice
🫒 2–3 tbsp oil (for shallow frying)

✨ Procedure:

1️⃣ Prepare Soya Chunks:

Soak soya chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water. Chop roughly if needed.

2️⃣ Mix Everything:

Combine mushrooms, soya chunks, onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Add spices, chickpea flour, cilantro, and lemon juice. Mix well. If it’s too loose, add a little more flour.

3️⃣ Shape the Kababs:

Form into small, round patties with clean hands.

4️⃣ Cook:

Heat oil in a non-stick pan and shallow-fry the kababs for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy and golden brown.

5️⃣ Serve:

Enjoy with mint chutney or vegan yogurt dip! 💚
