Samantha Barks Instagram – I was absolutely thrilled to be invited to the Water and Climate Reception hosted by His Majesty The King in support of @wateraid at Buckingham Palace.
I met inspiring young leaders from around the world making a huge impact and heard about the incredible work @wateraid is doing to work with communities to adapt to the impact of climate change. It has been 10 years since I started working with Wateraid and I travelled with them to Madagascar, I am still moved to this day to have seen the direct impact their work had on the communities we visited.
It really is astounding that 1 in 10 people around the world still don’t have access to clean water and the climate crisis is making it even harder for them to get water.
Water is the foundation of everything, health, education, gender equality, climate resilience & a better future. It all starts with clean water.
