BONUS TIPS! Besides having open-ended materials and parent’s involvement mentioned in the video, here are more things you can consider for young children. 🙂
1️⃣ Fill the play area with objects that toddlers can stack, sort, connect and explore through touch. This will spark curiosity and encourage them to experiment.
2️⃣ Place board books within children’s sight to spark early interest in language and literacy.
🥰Remember to consider your own needs as a parent too! For example, get easy-to-clean mats for sensory play and ensure you have comfortable seating for yourself.
