Samantha Tan Instagram – After posting this on IGS, people encouraged me to post it as a reel. I shared it with my family and my sisters & I thought hmm.. the kind wouldn’t explicitly say that they are kind..so I withheld.
After a few days, I found myself watching this video that my meimei took of my mum at the bus stop again. Yknow it wasn’t just at the door, every time the door opened she’d put her umbrella out of the bus just so passengers boarding would get that little bit more shelter from the rain & this time I noticed her entire sleeve was wet from doing so. This is my selfless mum, and for my friends who’d come to my place to chill, they can attest to this because she’d make sure everyone’s well fed and taken care of.
Why was I withholding wanting to shed light on the kindness in this world? I’m so proud of my mother and now I want to be proud of the kindness I give to others too. 🙂 | Posted on 12/Mar/2025 14:30:00
