I’m so grateful that Hitchens @hitchens.india exists because it’s proof that if you want to, you can provide IT ALL to your customers. At a time when fad-led establishments that serve mediocre experiences at premium prices, are the trend, Hitchens is a breath of classy-scented fresh air.
From the moment you step in, you are transported into another Universe, one would imagine sitting shoulder to shoulder with Hemingway. With the quotes on the walls, to the smoke effect paint, to the moody lighting and the very clean bathrooms, I was, for a few hours, removed from the noise and clutter of the outside world.
What’s best, is that, Hitchens does what it says on the box. The cocktails were smooth and seamlessly blended. The food was perfectly flavoured. The New York style jazz bar performance area was stunning and fully immersive. I cannot wait to return! And so if you’re looking for someplace for a date night or a work meeting over drinks or even a spot for some alone time, Hitchens is where you need to be.
