It was such an honor to follow Bryan Stevenson, who delivered the address last year. I decided to share some of the book that I’m finishing in the talk. In these times, silence is inaction. It’s generation time. It’s “planting time,” too as Sherrilyn Ifill says. Yes, yes. We have to think about the work needed for our era, not just for the day.
