Had a lovely belated birthday lunch for my dearest @sarimahibrahim . Many may have claimed to be “women empowering” in our industry, but despite the many vicious claims about Che Puan Sarimah whom I’ve known for many years, she was one of the very first few who reached out to me last year—asking if me and my daughter Fatima was doing ok, constantly sending me words of encouragement and uplifting surahs that have comforted me. THAT to me, is a definition of an empowering woman. I’ve never been one who judges anyone by their appearance or rather by what they wear, but their hearts and intentions matters most to me. You are a definition of a wise, kind and intelligent woman anyone would be blessed to know.
Thank you sister, for our much needed chat yesterday enjoying our little chocolate cake and now rested in our truth.
I look forward to many more of our times spent together. Only to warn you, that you just got yourself a badass sister that will have your back too. Love you. 🤍
