Superwowstyle Instagram – We saw the Northern Lights. Finally!!
And yes, its spectacular, but definitely not what you see on social media.
Northern Lights appear because of the solar storms entering the earth’s vicinity, and
Because of the wavelengths, the colors are captured brilliantly on digital cameras.
In reality the colors are much much more faint to the human eye.
I am so glad my friends had prepared me for this well in advance, so I could enjoy this phenomenon for what it really is. Instead of the expectations set by social media.
