On the auspicious occasion of 555th Prakash Purab of ‘DHAN SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI’, Sharing an old picture which is very close to my heart & soul ❤️ This boulder has the impression of “Guru Nanak Dev ji’s’ back that formed during an encounter with a demon while Baba ji was meditating peacefully in a remote area of Leh during his Udasis. A demon unhappy with Baba ji’s presence & teachings, tried to scare him away by rolling a giant boulder down the hill towards Guru Nanak Dev ji. Miraculously, the boulder turned soft like wax when it touched Guru Nanak Dev Ji and instead of harming him, it took the shape of his body. Realizing the divine power of Guru Nanak, the demon repented and sought his forgiveness. This place is known as ‘PATHAR SAHIB GURUDWARA’ & maintained by the Indian Army, and it is a popular stop for tourists traveling through Ladakh.
