Tika Sumpter Instagram – Comment TIKA and I’ll DM you this episode of @beprettysmart
Tika Sumpter is a force. Actress, producer, writer— 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿. Before she was producing, starring in major films, and building her media empire, Tika Sumpter was just a girl from Queens with a dream—but no roadmap. In this raw and inspiring convo, she breaks down:
•The hustle that took her from waiting tables to Hollywood
•The industry’s double standards & how she made her own lane
•Why Tyler Perry saw something in her that others didn’t
•The biggest risk she’s ever taken—
•Why every woman should experience love & adventure abroad
•Motherhood reflecting back the boldest version of herself.
This one’s about betting on yourself, pushing past rejection, and never waiting for permission. | Posted on 21/Feb/2025 03:54:56
