Victoria Park Instagram – It’s been almost a week, and i am still trying to find the words… because how do you accurately condense all that Christine was into just a few small sentences? To know her, was to be loved deeply. She was bright and fierce and funny and warm. She had a way of making you feel seen and known. She was a justice warrior, and wise beyond her years. She taught me so much – about friendship, loving others, loving Jesus, being a mom, being a woman, and remaining hopeful through it all. We were able to reconnect in person a few years ago when she was receiving various therapies and treatments on the west coast, and I will forever be grateful we did. As I told her often, she was my inspiration. I am grateful and honored to have called her friend. Her loss has left a deep hole in my heart and the lives of so many. I’m not sure how to begin to recover. Christine, thank you for everything. I am filled with joy that you are free of pain, singing and throwing your head back laughing with Jesus. But my heart aches.
