Victoria Pendleton Instagram – ‘Honoured’ is an understatement and a word I’m about to use far too many time for a single caption, but it’s the one word that best describes the feelings I have about being welcome into the @royalmarines family as an honorary Colonel. Visiting CTC and getting an insight into what it takes to become a Royal Marines commando was eye opening, the sense of family was evident and the feeling of pride for what they and stand for from everyone I spoke with was clear. It was also an honour to share my time at CTC with a fellow Honorary Colonel @victorilou (one of the most driven, capable and inspiring people I think I’ve ever met).
