$2.5 BILLION has been raised for #parkinsons research thus far – leading to massive and meaningful changes. last night’s event alone raised over $1M.
i’m so grateful i got to be there at #acountrything last night in #nashville and grateful i got to shake michael j fox’s hand. beautiful powerful soul. may we all take inspiration from this living hero.
as MJF says – the science is still ahead of the money. when they raise $1B, there is $1.5B needed for the research. now there are tests available to diagnose parkinson’s ahead of the symptoms. that’s one step (a million steps) closer to a cure. and medicines and treatments available now that could only have been dreamed of before.
