I had the honor of presenting Best Animated Film to Wild Robot alongside the legendary Floyd Norman, whose work as an animator shaped my childhood. Standing next to someone who created the blueprint of my earliest memories was surreal and a moment I’ll never forget.
Being in a room filled with such iconic storytellers was humbling, but meeting the incomparable Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor? A dream come true and so unexpected! Also… I think I have a little crush on @ray8fisher. 🙈 Seriously, he’s incredible.
