They identify certain searches expressing vulnerability and intentionally expose the searcher to more extreme content, even giving instructions on how to self-harm. Coming-of-age years are made up of naturally occurring self-doubt but companies are weaponizing internet searches with a willingness to sacrifice the mental and physical health of future generations in exchange for financial gain.
