Anoushey Ashraf Instagram – A woman’s right to inheritance is legally and Islamically protected, yet 86% of women in Pakistan are denied their rightful share to property. Every woman and girl deserves to be aware of her rights to be able to live with dignity and independence. 
Anoushey Ashraf sheds light on the Punjab Land Revenue Rules, 1968 which uphold women’s inheritance rights and ensure that they can claim what is legally theirs. 
This International Women’s Day, we are collaborating with the Embassy of the Netherlands and Sweden, to advocate for raising Punjab’s minimum marriage age for girls from 16 to 18. Awareness is the key to change—let’s raise our voices so no girl is left behind!
