This April Balqees Fathi is on the cover of Vogue Arabia, and gives her most personal interview to date discussing a phase of enlightenment and power. “Balancing my musical career and personal life, especially as a female and a single mother, is a triple dose of work and pressure. Experiencing every moment of my son’s growth is priceless to me. I’m determined to be present for each phase of his life, even if it means making sacrifices in my career,” admits the Yemeni-Emirati singer, clear where her priorities stand. “My previous marriage taught me a lot… but the best thing to do is to move forward.”
