A little side note about the importance of organizations like @ejaf, especially right now. We have been hearing a lot in the news about cuts to USAID (United States Agency for International Development), which is the US government’s main agency for providing foreign aid and humanitarian assistance. One of its many jobs is health and nutritional assistance in developing countries. Cuts to foreign aid, including USAID’s HIV/AIDS programs, will likely cause an increase in deaths from AIDS: the @unitednations AIDS agency has warned that without continued funding, 6.3 million people could die from AIDS-related causes in the next five years. I’m proud to support @ejaf’s life-changing work to save lives, end AIDS for good, and make the world a better place. Over 8.6 million dollars was raised Sunday night! 💓
