Elizabeth Tulloch Instagram – We rescued a #pug #puppy a few days ago! It had been 5 years this month since our beloved disabled #frenchbulldog @marvinthepugandhenrythewobbly passed away, and I finally felt ready enough to open my heart to another dog. This pug’s mama “Dolly” was dumped and abandoned while heavily pregnant during the #wildfires and I had offered to foster her. She ended up elsewhere but they asked if we maybe wanted to adopt one of her puppies when they were born. I offered to adopt Dolly as well but as you can see from the photo after she gave birth – she was sad and traumatized from being dumped and she had not taken to any of the puppies, so her foster decided to adopt her separately. Thank you to rescue org Pawsitive Beginnings for aiding Dolly when she so desperately needed it, and for helping transition this nugget into our home.
Anyway, nobody can agree on a name for him. Vivian’s fave at first was GEEP (hard G)😂😂😂. She later added Michael, Elmo, Hiccup, and Tito. Viv will obvi get final choice, but we are clearly steering her away from some of her suggestions like Earwax, Booger, and MUFF. 💀💀💀
We’ve only had the little pup for 3 days but he still doesn’t have a name (although the list has been narrowed down from about 30 to 6). Right now top contenders are Marvin, Tito, Bubba, Patito (one of my childhood nicknames which means “duckling” in Spanish), Biscuit, and Figgy (my great-grandmother’s cat’s name).
