Emily Calandrelli Instagram – When I touched down on Earth the first people I wanted to see were those who helped me liftoff to space – my boat refugee family and my space sisters, a group of astronaut women friends who paved the path for me to fly. I am the final one of our group to fly to space. For years, each of these women have supported both my civil rights activism for rape survivors and have served as a lifeline for my joy – space.
