Gage Golightly Instagram – I adopted this man in 2001, which seems a little backwards, My mom and I met Jack and Margot at a coffee shop with an old school Pac-Man machine, after months of Jack and I laying our quarters on the table to rival the high score I finally decided I needed a grandpa in my life. (Most 8 year olds don’t write up ‘legal contracts’ in sparkle gel pen to adopt a grandpa- but that’s exactly what I did) Since the day I adopted him, my grandpa was one of my favorite people on earth: he had a heart of gold, a smile that warmed your heart and stories that could make you laugh so hard you’d pee your pants. For all the years I had you grandpa, thank you for letting me pick you, and thank you for choosing to be my one and only grandpa. I love you more than my pet flamingo grandpa- until we meet again
