We are also calling it #AutismAcceptanceMonth because while many people are aware of #autism, they need to learn to be accepting of this developmental disorder which impacts one in 1 in 36 children in the U.S. up from the previous rate of 1 in 44.
In the U.S., about 4 in 100 boys and 1 in 100 girls have autism.
This month please encourage people to learn more about autism, and to be more accepting and inclusive of neurodivergent individuals! 💙💙💙💙🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
