I never WANTED to be told what to do or to have to answer to anyone else for my decisions…
The other day, my partner and I were wading through a pretty big decision.
If I had it MY way, it would have looked TOTALLY different… and if he had it HIS way, it also would have looked TOTALLY different.
🔑 The thing is, love and respect don’t work one way.
A healthy marriage looks like this: ⤵️
⭐️ Both partners listen to and respect each other like actual grown adults.
⭐️ Neither partner gets automatic decision-making power just because of their gender.
⭐️ As humans, we should ALL treat each other with kindness, consideration, and, oh yeah, basic respect. Radical concept, I know.
That’s the truth.
Plain and simple. ☺️
