Lately, life has felt like a whirlwind, with the weight of postpartum hormones (can last years), never enough hours in the day, never ending laundry, and life/financial stresses making it hard to find my footing. Being a mostly stay-at-home mom while working full-time feels like an impossible balancing act, and can be extremely isolating.
If you’re a mom out there, I see you. Please don’t misinterpret my outwardly happy social media as this unattainable standard. I don’t take pictures when things are not all smiles. Who wants to remember that? Not me, but I also want to make sure that I am not misleading in any way. This. Is. Hard.
I’m scared that in all this chaos, I’ll blink and miss these precious moments I’ve always dreamed of having. This is the life I’ve always wanted, and I feel so much guilt for struggling through so much of it. But I will continue to try to remind myself to stop, breathe, and cherish every second with my little ones. They are everything to me. I’m so thankful for them ♥️ | Posted on 14/Mar/2025 22:05:12
