Jennifer Garner Instagram – Five years ago— as the world was shutting down— @amyadams called me with a worry and an idea. The worry: how to feed America’s kids as schools (and their life saving feeding programs) were closing. The idea: artists reading children’s books to inspire donations to help feed kids! Three days later, together with @savethechildren and @nokidhungry, @savewithstories was born and helped serve meals and educational materials to millions of children and families in the hardest hit, hardest to reach, rural United States during the pandemic.
All these years later, I’m still so grateful to the creative community for taking the time to read, the authors/illustrators/publishers for opening hearts and catalogs for gratis use, and everyone out there who donated to the efforts.
