Jessica Vosk Instagram – In a quiet moment last night, I thought “eh, screw it let me take a selfie.” I looked at it and almost deleted it because I found about 600 things I hated about it, but then I forgot that my shirt said TAKE UP SPACE. Listen, I like to practice what I preach. Do the scary thing, fuck what other people have to say, stand up for yourself and for others. But if I’m being honest, I haven’t been so great at taking my own advice lately. I’ve allowed the
imposter to sink in, allowed the light to be dimmed by others…questioned my worth. Living in that weird in-between of this business where I think I’m 25 but I know I’m closer to middle-age… it probably doesn’t help that the world feels upside down at the moment. All of this to say, I hope that instead of tearing each other down, we live in a place where we are able to be vulnerable with one another, celebrate each other‘s successes while also remaining hungry and hopeful for our own.
