Finding it kinda hard to post about the gig cause it was so awesome & it’s been such a ride & it’s the closing of a portal that opened in 2006 when I broke my foot for the first time & I wrote multiple songs on MOB and made a pact with myself to play my first show when it was healed & I brought my cd in a paper envelope with my MySpace url written on it to Trinity in Harrow & then did play my first gig on April 13th & now it’s a full moon tonight & I have another broken foot & it’s April 13th tomorrow, I mean what will happen in 2026 with a new portal opening?? I watched season 3 of Love on the spectrum in one afternoon & the doctor manipulated my toes back together with no anasthetic old school, ship doctor style & I was excited by that? I mean how am I supposed to respond to texts or choose the right pictures from our sold out show at Kentish Town Forum & express my gratitude to the best team I’ve ever had across the board & process the excitement at finally feeling & seeing growth that I’m ready for after like my insane career of speedy growth at 18 that I was so not ready for & being fucked over multiple times & dropped like a hot potato & dragging myself through the tunnel of shit over & over & finally making it out with a shit eating grin on my face & feeling so much pride in the show & how we fucking smashed it despite my smashed foot & get my head around the epic poetry in me being the most stable I’ve ever been & kind of better than ever WITH a BROKEN FOOT? & all the while capable of taking on corporations that must respond to me publicly because I’ve become such a public nuisance to them with the power of my BUTT (I’m crying with joy) live on radio giving me no time to respond on a feminist radio show assuming they have the upper hand but actually walkin straight into my lair I’m a wild animal you know & wild ones keep the upper hand at all costs! We have to, survival etc! chess club pays off at last! ALL THIS WITH A broken foot in the most beautiful foot brace a girl could ever hope to have ? I mean what do i do with all this?! am I a fucking disney princess or something? I love my life and all my friends so much FUCK! Photos @judeharr8

Some pre show pics. I love this first photo of myself, @boomvision & Emma Brookes. I think it’s so cool to have photos of us working together. There’s a telepathy that I have with these 2 because of the length of time we have played together and because of the nature of our work. Playing music together you have to learn to communicate through glances. You’re also communicating through music & performance so much, there’s already a unique nature to your relationship. There’s a depth that you get from knowing someone for a long time, working together, being in so many strange situations together, playing shows, traveling and working in an intense environment. Our relationship is so special and important to me. I love this sneak peak snap of us in soundcheck. We were lucky to work with @jmaryondavies & @herensemblemusic again on this show. Jessie is a genius who has been able to add such beautiful arrangements to my songs with so much care & thoughtfulness about what the songs mean and what I’m trying to communicate through lyric and music.. @herensemblemusic are sooooo cooool and always bring the coolest players. They are a free form group seeking to address the gender gap & gender stereotypes in the industry so I love joining forces with them and making this mash up band. It compliments and challenges us all in this excellent, colourful on stage musical live wrestle but like not a wrestle as well. More ramblings from me to come. I’m still taking in the show and how awesome it was. I have a broken foot so I have plenty of time on my hands 💞 photos @judeharr8

Berlin you were everything, a broken foot & more! Thank you having us, can’t wait for the Forum tonight!! Video @judeharr8
