I always wanted to meet the Russians who have created this jungle community in Goa and now that I have, I really want to camp with them once. All of these people were very fit and I suppose hiking up and down multiple times a day will do that to your body. Its a great place to have digital detox and connect with nature. These guys already spent 6 months and will be moving to Himalayas as soon as monsoons get close. They had a cute nook for showering, many tents, they carried their hobbies with them, like books, painting, exercise equipments, etc. I can imagine living here for few days, but for months on end would be challenging since I love my AC, blanket, and mattress so much, also I have deep hate for mosquitoes. I forgot to ask where they pee and poo, but I think I know the answer. Their routine involves waking up to bird calls, cooking for one or for all, no fridge so they cook to consume all at once, doing meditation, exercises, hobbies, hikes, they also invite people for retreats and anyone can join if they are having an evening soirée. Ocean, lake and many eateries are nearby which is a convenience in such circumstances.
