Lauren Laverne Instagram – What a first live session on our new @BBC6Music morning show! Thank you so much to @richardhawley and crew and happy birthday to the wonderful Coles Corner….Such a special artist and album for so many of our listeners. I lost count of the number of messages we got saying they’d chosen Richard’s music for a first dance, or that it had soundtracked the beginning of a new relationship. The older pics here are from a Valentines Day session Richard did for us last time I was doing mornings on 6 – must be 10 years ago at least – proving that romance (like great tunes and cool shades) is eternal.
