Lyric Hurd Instagram – Thank you for attending our “Self Love” Galentine’s Day Event. Your presence greatly contributed to its success. The event was filled with smiles, laughter, excitement, dancing, networking, and having a girly good time. Our goal was to create a safe place that allowed you to relax, enjoy, and be yourself.
We are extremely proud of the sister duo hostesses Melody & Lyric Hurd; their contagious smile and personality was a great asset to our event.
We are so appreciative for two additional panel members Kenya Sariah and Precious Foreman. The panel was able to flow smoothly due to the talented and beautiful moderator Kiya Bynum.
The teen panel discussed various challenges that are common during adolescence, including issues related to school, college, friendships, and self-love. The panel reassured tweens and teens that they’re not alone in facing these struggles. One of the key takeaways is the importance of teaching young girls to love themselves intentionally and speak positively over themselves; which was highlighted as the biggest success of the discussion.
