Marg Helgenberger Instagram – I was honored to be with a badass delegation from The Creative Coalition to advocate on behalf of saving the National Endowment for the Arts.
Since 1965, the NEA has been providing grants to support artists, arts organizations, arts education, & creative innovation to communities both large and small throughout all 50 United States. Unfortunately, the NEA is yet another vital agency whose funding is being threatened by the Trump administration.
Fun fact; $1 in arts funding generates up to $9 from the private sector. In other words, in addition to enriching the soul, & bringing pride to otherwise neglected rural or underserved communities, the arts are an economic engine providing a multitude of employment opportunities.
