WHAT BABIES! 20 years ago this week Spicks and Specks first aired on ABC TV. After the first show screened (and I think this pic is from the first ep) Mum asked if I’d taped it (on video, lol) just in case it didn’t last long. Little did we all know what a huge and wonderful thing it would become. How lucky I am to have had this experience with my dear buddies @adamhillscomedy, Alan Brough, a divine crew behind the scenes and of course all our fabulous guests over the years 🩷

Having the chance to stay in these incredible #FLW houses is not only a dream come true but also excellent inspo and research for when I finally start renovating my little mid century shack (hopefully soon 🤞) with @steendyk

Been working on some things so not posting as much lately but did get to do my first ever oil painting out in the bush with @andypye___ for an episode of a tv show you won’t see until next year and it was one of the loveliest experiences I’ve had of late. Being in the moment and doing something I haven’t done before is really good for the soul, it seems 🎨🧑‍🎨

Spicks and Specks took out Best Entertainment Program and it was an honour to be there to celebrate with our magnifcent Producers @rowdiewalden and Anthony Watt. Dearly missed my best show buddies @adamhillscomedy and Alan Brough, but we made sure to put in a good effort on your behalf. Huge gratitude also to all the fine folk who have worked on Spicks and Specks both past and present 🩷 And in @officialblueytv news, I finally met my on screen cattle dog husband Stripe @danbrumm in person and his gorgeous partner who I’m pretty sure Aunt Trixie is based on 😉 Pure joy!
