Nazanin Amiri Instagram – Văn Miếu Quốc Tử Giám (part 1)(The Temple of Literature and National University of Vietnam) in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is one of the country’s most important cultural and historical sites. It was originally built in 1070 and served as a temple dedicated to Confucius, the great Chinese philosopher. Later, in 1076, it became Vietnam’s first official university, known as (Quốc Tử Giám)where students were educated in various fields such as philosophy, literature, and history.
The temple complex consists of several historical buildings, including temples, courtyards, and stone stelae, on which the names of graduates who passed the royal exams are engraved. These names serve as symbols of academic achievement and historical contributions to Vietnam.
Văn Miếu Quốc Tử Giám is a symbol of respect for education, culture, and history in Vietnam, attracting many tourists and scholars every year.
