I took on an ambitious challenge: teaching an entire retirement village to sign! This project was so important to me because isolation and loneliness are some of the biggest killers in the UK ā something the deaf community knows all too well.
I wanted to see if BSL could create real connections and break down communication barriers. Is sign language really for everyone?
