Shubhi Singh Instagram – When I was little, I had two big dreams:
To be famous… and to be a chef.
Somehow, the first one happened overnight—without a plan, without a warning.
And somewhere in growing up, I forgot about the second one.
Life kept shifting—one day I wanted to be a doctor, then a journalist, then something else entirely. But in between all that, I was always cooking. Midnight maggi for my sister, baking when I felt low, experimenting in the kitchen just to feel better. I just never called it a “dream” anymore.
Then came Canada. A move I made on instinct. I studied digital marketing, and one random day, I applied for a part-time job at a bar I couldn’t even get a reservation at for a date (true story). Thought if nothing else, I’d get dinner.
But instead… I got the job.
And two years later, I’m still in that kitchen.
Not long ago, my sister looked at me and said—“You remember how badly you wanted to be a chef?”
And it hit me.
I’m not a chef. Not yet. But I’m definitely a cook. And I’ve never loved it more.
Oh—and Canada gave me something else too. 100k on Instagram. In just a week of being here.
So, 10-year-old Shubhi… you did it. You got both.
Famous. And cooking.
25-year-old Shubhi’s still figuring it out—but we’re getting there.
