They say the first few days on set are either electric… or flatter than day-old champagne. But this? This was a vibe. A whole mood, even. The kind of energy you don’t just walk into—you feel it.
It started subtle. A little sparkle here, a little cheer there. The camera crew humming Mariah under their breath. People smiling between takes like they actually like their jobs. Suspicious, right?
Enter the one and only Tamala Jones—yes, that Tamala, who once melted hearts opposite Bill Bellamy in The Brothers (iconic, don’t argue). On what was either Day Four or Five, she stepped onto set, took one look around, and said what we were all thinking: “There’s something different about this place.”
And she wasn’t wrong.
Even the grip was out here singing like he was auditioning for The Voice. (If you’ve ever met a grip, you know that’s like spotting a unicorn in the wild.)

So yes, this might be an indie. And no, they’re not balling out with Marvel money. But the atmosphere? Unmatched. The cast? Connected. The vibe? Immaculate.
