Wafa Khadeeja Rahman Instagram – The music is all chipper in this video, but my mood was far from it. I was a pile of grumps and wanted to melt into my couch with my cats and eat chips while watching Abbot Elementary (which you best believe I totally did).
But I also somehow managed to drag my frumpy ass to the gym. I may not have lifted my best or walked the most steps. But I showed up. And I’m learning to appreciate that sometimes just showing up is a victory.
(Although I want to say that even showing up can be hard to do without a supportive community rooting for you. I have @be_joy_ and @benchpressphysio and it makes allll the difference!)
