Emmy award-winner, Archie Panjabi, stars as Satinder Aujla – the UK government’s new favourite spokesperson. In her search for power and acceptance, she seeks to divide and rule a broken nation ready to blame the most marginalised in society. And so with disregard for the generations that came before her, we watch Satinder turn her back on the diaspora she once found community in.
‘WHERE WE CAME FROM’ asks who we become if we internalise the prejudices we face to assimilate and belong.
