Bhumika Thakkar Instagram – We are doing a 2200 km Iceland Road Trip. 🇮🇸 Day 1 of Iceland was going from Reykjavik to Snæfellsnes. On the way we saw Gunnuhver Geothermal area and Brimketill.
Gunnuhver is a highly active geothermal area on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwestern Iceland, known for its steaming vents, bubbling mud pots, and hot springs, including Iceland’s largest mud pool.
Brimketill is a small, naturally carved pool, by marine erosion, at the lava shore edge west of the town of Grindavík.
Also was fortunate enough to see Northern Lights on the first day itself.
