We had just finished watching When Life Gives You Tangerines — laughing, crying, and feeling every moment together.🥹 The drama didn’t just move us; it helped us see through each other’s eyes — a mother and her firstborn daughter, each carrying our own quiet struggles, each learning to understand the roles we’ve had to take on. Then she turned to me and said, “Let’s go to Jeju… for Mother’s Day.” And just like that, she planned everything — the stays, the meals, the drives, the itinerary. Every road she drove🚗, every quaint little restaurant she picked, every detail was filled with thought and love. And somewhere between those shared meals and soft silences, I saw her — not just as my daughter,💓 but as a woman, strong and kind, holding me now with the same love I once held her. In those few precious days, she gave me a gift no present could match — a quiet, breathtaking reminder of how much she’s grown… and that the love between a mother and daughter is a blessing beyond words. 我们领养“皮蛋”的时候，它大概六岁左右。转眼七年过去了，它早已成了我们家中不可或缺的一份子。如今的皮蛋已经步入老年，牙齿🦷也几乎掉光了，动作也比以前慢了许多。🐕🦺🐾 上个星期，它突然两条后腿无法行走😭，痛得全身发抖，只能靠身体吃力地拖行。看着这一幕，我的心像被揪住一样。虽然我知道这一天终究会来，但真的没想到，会来得这么快。 我满心忧虑地带它去看兽医。Rachel Tong 医生🩺告诉我，皮蛋的关节和骨头🦴已经严重退化。更让我心疼的是，医生说它一直都在默默忍受痛楚，从来没有表现出来。医生初步判断可能是椎间盘滑脱，或是膝盖脱臼，于是先开了止痛和消炎药，看看能否缓解。💊 但回家吃了两天药后，皮蛋的情况反而更严重了，连站立的力气都没有了。我吓坏了，立刻带它回兽医那里。X光检查🩻后发现，它的膝盖确实严重脱位。医生建议我们尝试一周四次的膝盖注射疗程。💉 治疗期间，我每天都为它担心、祈祷。但就在打完第一针的第6个晚上，奇迹发生了——皮蛋竟然站了起来！😭🙏🏻虽然只走了几步就又跌倒了，但那短短几步，已经让我热泪盈眶。我知道，它在努力，它不想放弃。🌼 我立刻把这个好消息告诉了医生。隔天继续带它去打第二针。虽然第三针还没打，但它已经可以慢慢走动了。我的心也终于稍微放下。皮蛋正在一点一点地好起来。🌈☺️ 在这里，我想由衷地感谢 @springveterinarycare 的主治医生 Dr. Rachel Tong。谢谢你对皮蛋的悉心照顾、专业判断，以及温柔又细致的关怀。是你让皮蛋重新站了起来，也给了我们坚持下去的力量。♥️ 我真的非常感恩。谢谢你，Dr. Rachel。 我相信，在你的照顾下，皮蛋一定会一天比一天好起来的!💪🏻🐾🐶 P.S If you’ve gone through something similar with your dog, I’d be grateful if you could share your story.
