AI can’t take your job – It’s important to diversify your portfolio, investing in stocks and real estate. Brand deals won’t always come so you have to prepare for the dry days – Anybody who tells you they’re helping you or “picking you from the gutter” to make you big, probably has wants to cheat you – Identify your market in the fashion industry and building relationships with people. The Creative Blueprint Masterclass by @funkejenifaakindele was a resounding success and I am so so honored to have been a part of it! I hosted a masterclass on ‘Building Wealth in the Creative Economy’ and boy I did justice to this topic and I was so so proud! As a Creator earning millions for your craft, it is so easy to get carried away because when the money starts coming in, it comes in big and it comes in FAST and for many, they change their lifestyle immediately because you’re on such a high! You hardly ever stop to think about the future, you don’t think about investing, they almost never think about their OLD AGE! We have too many examples of creators globally that touched hundreds of millions of dollars but declared bankruptcy very quickly and you begin to wonder how it happened. For many creators, your life becomes so public, so you believe you always have to impress the world – DONT! Have great professionals and friends around you. Get a lawyer, diversify your income and use your time in the limelight wisely because you will not always be the one ‘raining’ but you can be steady and plan to generate income passively! I honestly enjoyed preparing for this session! Thank you Aunty Funke and @dearadetutu of @woofstudiosafrica for the opportunity to work with you. You really work with everyone like family. I remember you calling us all downstairs to pray! That prayer was HOT!!! You are the real GOAT! You are everything and more! I’m so glad I came back to nigeria just in time for this.
