It’s funny how over time so much changes, yet a few foundational things remain unchanged- like my love and appreciation for training, the lift life. I’ve tried many times since my early 20’s to articulate how grounding & centering training is for me. An essential part of my daily routine. Like brushing your teeth. More so than ever during challenging times (which still continue to this day 🥹😂). It’s taught me to ‘control what I can control’ – to be responsible for myself, to stay accountable. Even when people don’t show up, or things don’t go according to plan – to show up for myself and stay the course. I’m so thankful for it. I hope more people find the thing that makes them feel this way too. And for those on a similar path, you’re not alone. PS : the irony of the lyrics amused me no end. Great beats 😅 it is what it is.
Long awaited!! Highly anticipated! A heavy as day of lifting I didn’t think was possible (AND A REEL?!?) (Since I’m on a deficit since… too long seeing as I can’t remember how many weeks it’s been 😳🫠). Shout out to @dr.ravinder.healing.hands for the much needed sports physio yesterday. Def made a difference. Plus the chalk today, thanks S! (Seeing as sleep was 5.5hrs🥺) I weigh 63kgs for everyone who’s obsessed w how much I weigh lol.
