I first met Hayley seven years ago and she left me with a piece of advice that gave me a confidence boost when I needed it most, “Take you wherever you go and keep setting the tone you want in every room you walk into.“ I did, and it’s really made me into the person I am today.
So I was beyond excited to welcome Hayley to ‘Reign’ to not only thank her but to talk about her own journey with confidence which has seen her go from a 20 something who was unkind to herself to the star of the SIX Marvel films, two Marvel TV shows and join the ‘Mission Impossible’ franchise.
Hayley joined me whilst starring in the incredible @jamielloydco production of ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ – which YOU HAVE TO SEE it’s like Shakespeare goes to da club – so we also talk about the show’s comments on gender double standards. We also chat about how Hayley has learnt to stand up for herself and she shares an incredible piece of advice Tom Cruise gave her for dealing with social anxiety.
